Vinous Gigondas Romane Machotte 2018 

Dark ruby-red. Lively red and blue fruits, candied lavender, licorice and white pepper aromas are complemented by suggestions of garrigue and smoky minerals. Sweet and fleshy in texture, the juicy raspberry, bitter cherry, star anise and cola flavors deepen through the mid-palate. It clings nicely on the gently tannic finish, which leaves succulent floral and herb notes behind.
