Sweet and expansive on the palate, offering deeply concentrated raspberry liqueur, boysenberry, candied lavender and fruitcake flavors that pick up a smoky mineral nuance with air. Supple, even tannins add shape and subtle grip to the impressively long, sappy finish, which repeats the red fruit and floral notes.
