Vinous Gigondas Domaine Grand Romane 2018 

Saturated garnet. The sharply defined nose displays highly perfumed, mineral-accented red and blue fruit, floral, allspice and candied licorice qualities. Powerful bitter cherry, black raspberry, botanical herb and exotic spice flavors tighten up steadily through the back half. Polished tannins frame the wonderfully persistent and penetrating finish, which strongly echoes the cherry and floral notes.
