Drink Rhone Gigondas Romane Machotte rosé 2016

Pale pink, a touch of onion skin. The nose is soft, mixes rose petals with strawberry fruit. The palate holds red fruits with a surprising, near lactic manner in the flavour, almost soap suds. It’s a creamy version of Gigondas rosé. I’d like more snap. Tasted blind. I see subsequently that it has been in oak.
